This page provides instructions for deleting your GRABA DDAY account and associated data.

How to Delete Your Account

Method 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)

You can delete your account directly from the GRABA DDAY app:

  1. Open the GRABA DDAY app
  2. Go to Settings (gear icon in the top right)
  3. Scroll down to the Account section
  4. Tap "Delete Account"
  5. Confirm your decision by typing the confirmation text
  6. Your account and all data will be permanently deleted

Method 2: Email Request

If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion via email:

  • Send an email to: support@graba.info
  • Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
  • Include: The email address associated with your GRABA DDAY account
  • We will process your request within 7 business days

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently deleted:

  • Account Information: Email address, authentication data
  • Event Data: All events (occasions) you created, including titles, dates, categories, and settings
  • App Settings: Theme preferences, language settings, notification preferences
  • Device Tokens: Push notification tokens

Data Retention After Deletion

Your data will be deleted according to the following timeline:

  • Immediate: Account access is immediately revoked. You will be logged out from all devices.
  • Within 30 days: All personal data is permanently deleted from our production databases.
  • Within 90 days: Data is removed from backup systems and cannot be recovered.

Note: Once deleted, your account and data cannot be recovered. This action is permanent.

Data Retained for Legal Compliance

We may retain certain anonymized transaction logs for legal and regulatory compliance purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, security audits) for up to 1 year. This data does not include any personally identifiable information and cannot be linked back to you.

Important Notes

  • All Data Deletion: Account deletion removes all data associated with your account. If you only want to delete specific events, you can do so within the app without deleting your account.
  • Third-Party Services: Device tokens stored by Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) may be retained according to their retention policies. See Firebase Privacy Policy.
  • Alternative: If you want to temporarily stop using the app without deleting your data, you can simply log out or uninstall the app. Your data will remain accessible when you return.
